In autumn season we focus more to wildlife photography. From September there is a very good chance to meet in front of your lens elk in the natural environment, brown bear, wild boar, roe deer and huge flocks of arctic waterfowl on their autumn migration. But also autumn colors, rapidly changing weather conditions and late summer vegetation that gives the possibility to capture the dramatic and colorful scenery. Wild mushrooms and still active bug life offer use to your macro lens.
Elks have the mating season in September and October and this makes them less cautious and easier to spot. Males have impressive antlers and confrontation between individuals can be sometimes observed as well. Brown bear is preparing for the winter hibernation, so they are active and won’t be disturbed easily. Beside bear there are raccoon dogs, foxes, wild boar and some passerines visiting area around photography hide regularly.
Beside great photos, on this wilderness photography tour you will get personal tuition from professional nature photographer if needed. All skill levels and areas of photography interest are welcome.

Day 1:
Leidissoo Ramsar area- woodpeckers, elk, black grouse, hazel grouse. Sutlepa reserve for bird migration. Matsalu National Park- bird migration.
Day 2:
Early start before sunrise to be ready for the elk. Bird migration and black grouse. Elk tour in the evening until sunset.
Day 3:
Early start before sunrise to be ready for the elk. Forest, raised bog and coastal areas in Pärnu County.
Day 4:
Drive to Lahemaa National Park, Põhja- Kõrvemaa landscape nature reserve. Lahemaa rivers and waterfalls, woodpeckers, common kingfisher, local culture and architecture. Sunset at the coast.
Day 5:
Hazel grouse tour with local guide. Bear hide at 4 pm.
Day 6:
Leaving the bear hide at 8 am. Driving around local forest roads- wildlife and birds. Back to the bear hide (or alternative hide) in the evening.
Day 7:
Leaving the bear hide at 8 am. Driving around local forest roads- wildlife and birds. Lahemaa nature reserve. Landscape, birds, macrophotography. Sunset and low light photography.
Day 8:
Drive to Tallinn, some stops by the rivers and coast, tour in Tallinn- Medieval old town, newer areas, and Kopli. Visit to Pirita or TV tower (optional) for Tallinn panorama.
